John & Betsy Baker have envisioned opening an RV park for years. They searched by foot and by computer for the perfect site for their dream park. They knew what they wanted to incorporate in their campground from their travels and their ideas of what a park should offer. They purchased the 4 acres that hosts The Home Place in 2019. John built a 13 space park along the secluded back area of the property, leaving as many large oak trees as possible. Betsy is the smiling face that will welcome you to your stay in the Highland Lakes area of Central Texas.
